I don`t think I am very welcome here or at the Cylon Alliance. I really don`t know what I did ,but yours is the only welcome so far. In fact DAWG told me not to return here. Maybe you should retract yours. I don`t want to get flak from it. Thanks though.

I like to know if I am talking to a lady or a guy.
 

In case I want to give a wink or give a lady a rose or just say how nice you are looking today. If I did any of the above to a guy,how would that look?;)

Actually we do have a high female ratio. Thanks to the charming graces of Dirk Benedict and Richard Hatch :D

But I'll leave them to identify themselves. :D

And Starbuck did message us with a real email address. And his identity sofar looks good. :D

btw- Submissions forums is for members to submit news articles to be placed in the news forum. Or stuff that scifi.com has censored. So I'll move this thread down to the regular BG discussion forum ;)

Hello there Guardian2, Guinan,Repcisg,Captmiloman, Jewels and Blue Mule. Thank you all for the welcome. This seems to be quite an active room. I am pleased to meet all of you. Looks in his bag and finds Cookies,Hershey Kisses, a few ice cold beers, a dozen roses and a big bottle of Gingerale and some glasses. Man what a weird lot of stuff I have. Hands things to everyone hoping everyone will take whatever they want. :D

Starbuck was the the second in command to Captain Ahab. And when he went nuts in tracking the great white whale Starbuck opposed him. :D

On the web, I've found a coulple of sailing vessels named Starbuck, probably after Melville, but who knows? The newer one could have a little Galactica symbol painted somewhere.

When I was to young to even remember. my uncle gave me the nick name Buck. Then when I was about 8 this incredible series called Battlestar Galactica came on ABC and I was in love with with the show. I thought Starbuck was just it,so now instead of just Buck I would start adding Starbuck. He was the James Bond of space.:D

Hello fellow members of the Fleet!

I just found out about this board this morning and joined straight away. It looks like a great place to hang out and keep up with all things Galactica. I hope that this board is nearly as fun as it looks. I look forward to getting to know everyone and make some new acquaintences that share one of my favorite interests, namley BSG!
