Prequel clarification

Date: 04/17/2003
From: MartianHighCouncil

Dear Galactica Fans,

I have done my own checking up on the rumored prequel and I would like to say that the prequel dealt with the video game only. Devin Richards is attached to Vivendi Universal Games and not the to the production studio. I hope this clarifies some rumors regarding production. For the record, the "re-imagined" Battlestar Galactica miniseries has 110% support from Universal Studios.

Well he would say that wouldn't he? ;)

Still waiting for Dave to answer my E-mail.

For the record, the "re-imagined" Battlestar Galactica miniseries has 110% support from Universal Studios.

Well, we will have to see about changing that.

LordStarFyre April 17th, 2003 02:53 PM

Oh, so what he's really saying

is that the Fans of the TOS never really did matter to Him, or others, and that all that crap about them actually caring what the Fans thought was only meant for their Manufactuered Fan Base of Star Trek Fans, and Moore Zealots...

Hey David, next time, get a Toupee with some Brains in it...

Also, David, two words for ya Dude,

Weight Watchers....

So let me get this straight. When Treklord posted the poll stating 'what do the fans want, a continuation or a prequel', they conveniently forgot to add the bit about 'in regards to the game, not the mini.' How convenient.

If Mr. Eick let that one slide by unaware, then someone is asleep at the wheel.

The Fans Spoke

Sadly we were ignored time and time again.

If anyone checked out his line of questioning, it is obvious what he was really polling for:

http://bboard.scifi.com/bboard/brows.../5/3315/317325

http://bboard.scifi.com/bboard/brows.../5/3315/317410

Can you tell me that any of these questions deal with a production?

peter noble April 17th, 2003 03:04 PM

No they don't.

But nor was it stated that the prequel poll was about a frelling videogame. In fact by it's wording I think we ALL were lead to believe it was about the production judging by the response to the poll.

One more bit of Evidence

Micheleh, that Moore, Eick, and their Supporters are full of Crap.

All that nonsense about how it's just us "Evil Retros" that are so bad, is just to cover up the Lies, obfuscations and distortions of those out to destroy Galactica.

Wait til everyone see's just how badly they've re-imagined everything.

Get ready for:

1: The Submarine Bridge
2: Totally Re-Designed Costumes (including, let's not forget, eliminating the Viper Helmets)
3: Commander Zoot Suit and his Blue Eyed "Ritchie Cunningham" with a Britsh Accent "Son". Gee, Maybe that's why Commander Billybob Husker Adama divorced that cheating slut he was married to, she was boffing the Mailman... How's that for Family Drama...
4: Jiggling Sports bras and slow mo Baywatch jogs through the Submarine like hallways of the Galactca.
5: A Stick Like Silicone Boob Suspension System with a glowing spine giving Handjobs.
6: Baltar the victim
7: Tigh the Drunk
8: Mrs. Tigh the slut
9: No Sound in Space
10: Split Screen "space battles"
11: No Blaster Pistols (Now they use projectile weapons)

And all that brought to you by a Nerd, a Witch, and Fat, Balding Coward....

Micheleh April 17th, 2003 03:10 PM

"Can you tell me that any of these questions deal with a production?"

If their concern had been honesty, it would have been beyond simple to step in and clarify the moment it became clear that the poll was being misinterpreted- if indeed it were, and if this whole 'explanation' isn't just a handy "We never really meant that" after the fact excuse.
