Did We Give Up When the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor?...NO
http://bboard.scifi.com/bboard/brows...5/531?pnum=182
From: JSC1 Okay people we have one chance left. Let’s make the most of it. If anyone is heading towards the direction of Colonial Fleets, post this message there as well. My own account info has not been clarified. According from what I’ve heard from the other board shooting has been delayed one week. They probably figure to have everything settled by then. To that end we send out a new batch of snail mail. I know some of you have written before, I myself have as well, including signing petition after petition. But the monkeywrench has been thrown in. We need to do all we can to get it out. So without further ado here are the addresses below: Universal Entertainment Group 100 Universal Plaza Universal City, CA 91608 USA Re:Battlestar Galactica I know this address originally belonged to Barry Diller. But even though his name has been removed the address is still in play. So someone is listening. Other contacts are as follows: Ms. Susan Krakower SR VP Programming & Development Studios USA-5th floor 1325 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY 10019-6026 U.S.A. Mr. David Kissinger President of Network TV Studios USA 8800 Sunset Blvd. 7th Floor West Hollywood, CA 90069-2117 U.S.A. Ms. Sarah Timberman President of Programming Studios USA 8800 Sunset Blvd. 7th Floor West Hollywood, CA 90069-2117 U.S.A. And here’s a new contact I stumbled across: Battlestar Galactica Aces and Eights Productions Inc. 10/110-565 Brooksbank Avenue North Vancouver, BC V7J 335 We’ve got one more shot. Let’s knock it out of the ball park. |
"Did We Give Up When the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor?...NO!"
Good grief, did Ron Moore remake that one, too?!? ;) :D |
And exactly what are we writing in those snail mail letters to the above addresses?

Aces and Eights? That's a deadman's hand. Who the heck choose that name for a production?
|
Animal House
"don't interupt him, he's on a roll" I almost thought this was not appropiate, but as I type this I can't stop laughing. I can see Belushi giving this speech. You need to add a few quotes from 1941. |
Actually the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Were you asleep in history class?

Animal House
I remember there was a scene in which they gave a horse a heart attack and Belushi used a chainsaw to cut it in half and mount it on the wall.
|
Almost, Kingfish, but...
they had taken the horse into Dean Wormer's office to leave it there overnight, but it died of a heart attack. It was a maintenance man the next day who fired up the chainsaw to get it out of the office. Funny, funny scene.
My own favorite was the ladder scene... I am Dawg |

I haven't been here long enough to know the answer to that. |
H i All!
"Look at this,.... americans fighting americans, you're all acting like a bunch of tojo stooges. Was that Mickey Mouse I saw blitzkrieging across europe, what do you want Yamamoto in the white house,...you'll be eating fish heads and rice for thanksgiving." - Dan Akroid, 1941. Love this film, its akin to a live action warner brothers cartoon, with some great Special Effects,a great cast, direction, lighting and some of the best music John Williams ever wrote.I know a lot of people who dont like this film, but then again these are the same people that can't watch a film and story unfold in due corse. This is a Fun Fun Fun film, maybe it's just for extreme film nuts, and animator types like me,but I recommend it to the peeps that like crazy stories. Ironically enough all the japanese people who I worked with in Japan actually liked and enjoyed this film, so I didn't have to be embarrassed about it. I was in good company when I brought up this title. Anyone else here like this Comedy Spectactular? "Fill it UP! Ethol!! - "Wild" Bill Kelso: John Belushi. "Where,......?" -Female gas station attendent. Laters. Rich. |
loved it
Not a very popular film or the box office blockbuster that they had hoped for but that we know that means nothing.
