Viper helms in prequel and continuation

Right, in a prequel I'd like to see a Viper helm sort of like an test pilot's crash helmet from the late fifties early sixties. No glowing bars to keep an atmospheric seal an actual face visor on this one folks. you'd still see the egyptian influence but it would not stand out so much from the head.

For a continuation I'd like to see a variation of the Mark II helmet from Galactica 1980. Vital information would be relayed to the pilot in front of his/her face betwen the lightbars top and bottom.

Anyone else want to chip in?

I think the prequel helmet should show some of the Egyptian influences, the bird or flying horse (Pegasus) ornamentation or the stripes. The actual visor is a neat idea. Tylinium, right? ;)

Yes the slimmer G-80 helmet could be nice, would like some indication (cgi) that the force field is there.
