convention questions

When will the reunion convention be? I need to know the exact dates in a week or two, so that I can ask for that time off work and plan accordingly.
And do you know what the convention fees and hotel room rates will be? If they're too high, I can't go. But if they're reasonable, I need to start making plans now, both saving my money and making travel arrangements.

I'm hoping there will be travel packages. I'd like to attend if I can make the proper arrangements in time.

Sigh...

Two kids (adopted) this year and the A-Team convention means I won't (probably) be able to go to this.... (wishing i could though!)

Congratulations! Wow! 2 adoptions at once! Doing the paperwork, etc. for one is enough of a task, if England is anything like the US. Hope your adjustment has gone well. (I'm hoping my husband gives me a week or 2 before I have to start the form filling, documentation gathering for our next one. Got to start it soon.)

convention question

I knew the details of the 15-year and 20-year conventions, such as where they were and how much they cost, more than a year in advance. And I've known the details of every other major event such as this, sci-fi or otherwise, more than a year in advance. I have never had the type of job where I can just take off with a few weeks' notice--I've always had to set dates in January for vacations throughout the year.
That's the point I was trying to make--the convention planners are very far behind in their arrangements, and if they wait much longer, they may not be able to find the places they want. And if they wait much longer, I may not be able to make plans to attend.

Well hope the news comes out soon and alot of it will be big. should BG get messed up by a "Remake" this year a 25th anniversary might be the only way to honor the old show one last time. With Trek popularity growing less and less they still wack out a big Star Trek Adventure themed con at Hyde Park in the U.K.

And last years Star Wars E2 premiere was like a con as well BIG, HUGE so i hope a Galactica 25th got EPIC written all over it! If our spirits are crushed by a remake their might not be a 30th Annivesary con, come 2008?

KJ

:(

But i still hope for the best this year
