It's a CG model. The diagram he's working from is what the size ref is about.

I love this model! I'm glad others are also modeling my favorite scifi ship. It's interesting and fun to see other CGI artists interpretations of the same subject matter. I hope the mesh is made available freely to the public.

I have invited Alex and have chatted via Email about the Galactica .

I hope he does join sometime, but he sent me some images of his Galactica so I will post them here .... or perhaps a Mod could add them to the original post by Peter.
