we the original fans of Battlestar Galactica will be the minority. If that ever happens would we welcome the new Galactica fans with open arms who have no familiarity with the original? I would welcome them just because we can help introduce them to the Classic Battlestar Galactica that we all know and love.

I'll embrace fellow BG fans, remake or original. If I can be civil to G1980 fans (and I am), this shouldn't be a problem. ;)

Fans of the new version would be nice, just so they can be introduced to the classic. Though most threads will probably be... "Boobs Starbuck is way cooler than Cigar Starbuck!"
