Like the title says, please use this thread to check in with us, if and when you are able, to let us know that you're ok.

Martok reporting in. All is well. Didn't even take any damage in my neck of the woods. I pray for those in Baton Rouge, where it seems the storm struck hardest in this state...and those caught alog the more coastal towns.

Thank you for your thoghts and prayes, everyone. :)

Thank the Lords! Great to hear from you Steve. Was thinking of you and praying for you and everyone else as the hurricane made landfall. Here's hoping the recovery is swift and that all can get back to normal. :salute:
Best to you Amigo. ;)

Thank you, my friends.

New Orleans is pretty much business as usual right now.

Baton Rouge took a major hit with flooding and some tornadoes I think. I pray for those folks.

Now I'm just keeping an eye on Ike.

Steve, I'm glad to hear you're well and fine. I was wondering how you were, with the last hurricane sweeping over New Orleans. What an ordeal is must have been to evacuate. Anyway, let us hope the hurricane season is near an end for the year.;)

I have very dear friend in Florida, and thankfully she let me know she was just fine too.:) Thank the Lords!
