Well done!

These are truly heavy-duty industrial ships!

Can you imagine serving aboard those vessels, though? One laser blast and BOOOOM!! The tylium ignites; the ship explodes.

Such is life in the BG universe. ;)

I love the amount of detail within each render.

No , it would be impossible, I have the older versions, not nearly as good bit far lower in polys. Some were used in GWOM so I know they work, I can upload if you like

How about a Cray 2
LOL
S:) :)

Gawd, what a fleet you have Steve. All we need now is a couple of Cray's for Darrel to work with!

Stevew November 5th, 2002 04:35 PM

Either that or a big Sun. I would love to have Fabio take a shot also (hint hint)

NOW you're talking. ;) (Not that there are any spare E15K machines sitting around...)

Only if it generates incredible revenue streams that fit certain business models right now... hehe I will strongly recommend Sun Grid Engine software (available for various platforms) to those with multiple workstations/servers on a network. You can offload processing to other machines, ie. mini-render farm, for example.

I know, I know. (fyi: I did try for GWoM a couple of years back (and a couple of times) without success. Processing time could have been incredible, had the resources been allocated.

No! You need a Macintosh. They gigaflop like a Cray. Actually the new ones more than gigaflop, me thinks. (sorry gang, just had to say it, got to be an Apple advocate whenever I can be!) :D

Steve: Wow, as usual! Ok the "safety tape" solar panel fin edges are a little hard on the eyes, but then shouldn't they be, with such a thin sharp thing so close to a huge quantity of tyllium? Really like the frieghter and tanker 1.

Jewels, who heads to bed in awe of all the Colonial artists.
