How accurate are schematics?
Look what's on eBay. Are they accurate?

Like the Star Wars blueprints, I suspect that these were made "after the fact" based upon the real blueprints (if there were any).
They ARE official... so you can consider then "accurate". As far as I know, nobody has ever truly challenged their accuracy. -Gordon |
Hey, I had those when I was a kid!
Wow! I haven't thought about those old blueprints in a while. Keen that they're still out there.
My memory of them is a bit hazy, but I seem to recall that those blueprints were in fact based on the set construction schematics for the show. That would make them pretty darn accurate if you ask me. The only discrepancy I remember is the schematic for the Viper itself. They were based on the full-scale Viper set piece and not the VFX model(s) so it's actually shorter (from nose to engine) and more narrow (from wingtip to wingtip) than it should be. At any rate, they're a cool piece of Galactica memorabilia. If you got the cubits, I say go for it! Buckaroohawk  |
who knows, that maybe looks a little triangular to me? :salute:
