A fan production along the lines of 'New Voyages?'(speculative discussion)

I have been thinking of the Star Trek Internet fan project 'New Voyages' done by James Cawley, and I was wondering. Could BSG fans do the same as a continuation?

Fans do have some resources out there. Richard Hatch made use of some of those resources when he put together his 'Second Coming' trailer. From what I hear some fans have Viper Cockpits, some fans have costumes and props, and there might be other odds and ends out there as well. I know Battlestar Callisto has a few items. From what I hear on fleets and Cylon Alliance there are modellers, and CGI animators.

Is it perhaps possible to draw all these resources together to come up with a fan production along the lines of 'New Voyages?' An hour(or longer) non profit production for the Internet?

I know there will be some problems, like building a new Galactica bridge, launch bay, and maybe the Cylon throne room, but is it possible to unite all the resources to create such a production?

Might also be worth picking Richard Hatch's brain to see how he got his trailer together.

JSC1......

I think you'll be pleased to know there are already 1 or 2 such things being planned....

I have sent questions along for an interview with Richard, and I think fanfilm makers will find some of his answers interesting....will post when I hear back from him.....

In the meantime, please check out my website. This site will also include Continuation fanfilm episodes when they are completed. As well as many other fan endevours...big and small...
