Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince
Has anyone else read the new book or am I the only los... er... the only person to have spent Saturday evening & Sunday morning ignoring the world so I could read it? I am DYING to talk about it, but no one on ony of the places I hang out at has read it yet! One person said she hadn't read the series because she "didn't want to spoil the movies"... :wtf: :?:
So... (BIG spoiler ahead, don't read this if you don't want to know):    |
Are you serious??????? ...or is that Sirius? :D Anyways... do Harry and Hermione finally get together? ;) |

Enquiring minds want to know? :D And not only no, but HECK no!!! ;) |
...argh!
|
Haven't finished it yet, but it won't take me long, I did the prev 5 books in 2 months
|
I finished it just today...and all I can say is WOW!
Yes, the story does get depressing, but it is also taking on the much more serious tone it needs to set the stage for the final confrontation between Harry and Voldemort. Bring on book 7, JK!!! Respectfully, Martok2112 |
Ok... i've read reviews on the book, and it appears not is all as it seems regarding that spoiler above.
As for Hermione and Harry, well... ...drat still. |
I would agree Warrior. I think she's playing with our minds. There's a lot of subtle hints to the effect that this all went down as planned.

Hermione Granger turned 26 three days ago. :D
Hermione Jane Granger, birthdate, Sept.19th, 1979. :D Martok2112 |
I doubt very much that Harry and Hermione will get together. It looks more like Ron and Hermione to me and my friends all agree.
My thoughts: |
THAT's what was going on at the end. I like that idea, Pegasus4!!!!!!
::excited smile:: |
A scene in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (movie) also forshadows the possible relationship between Ron and Hermione. When Harry is trying to make nice with Buckbeak the Hippogryff, and Hermione absently grabs Ron's hand in fear...and when they realize what happened, both seem a wee bit embarrassed.
