My best advice is, get the kit done before we all show up on your doorstep for an "intervention" and demand our kits!!

Ya big tease! ;)

Tom is a vey intelligent and fair minded guy.

I'm sure he would admit to the fact that there are more informed folks than he.

Viper Thruster Pics!!
Here it finally is! The much awaited thruster nozzles for this bird. :D
Actually after looking a t drawing plans after drawing plans, I arrived at this type, which I screwed up a few times, but is great now after learning what was causing me problems. I put it down many times before trying again, and this is cool. :salute:
I'll make three molds of this so that each is identical. Besides, I would'nt want to attempt that crap again. :D
She is ready to ship as soon as these molds are done and as soon as the pilot is complete, which I'm working on and will have pics today sometime. :salute:

Those thrusters nozzles look really cool.

The learning curve on this can only help you with your next project.

Well done!

Best,

Peter

Thank You Peter! And I appreciate the awesome Happy Birthday wish from you! But poor Terri, feels like she was forgotten. ;) I think the Fleets forgot her birth day, :(
And yes, that helped me advance a little further in skill. The Raider size and design are being approved by Tom right now. Should have word from him in a day or so. :salute:

spcglider February 15th, 2006 01:47 PM

Looking good.

I was thinking that the thruster nozzles would have been a little bit bigger to take up all of the space where they are set. Other than that I like, but that just me.

All part of the streamlining. I think it's looking pretty sweet all around!

Hi guys, any more news on the Desanto viper? It's been a few days and I'm going insane. I got the impression they were just about ready to ship- maybe in the next couple of weeks. She's looking better all the time! Cheers, Chris

spcglider February 20th, 2006 03:16 PM

Mr. Mike still has a few molding duties to see to. BUT WE ARE ALL EXPECTING TO SEE MAGNIFICENT RESULTS AND FULLY CAST KITS SOON (that's a hint, M....)
