Well, with all these beers, Kitty has been having, it could be me!
|
Naughty kitty.....
Are you hearing anyone singing yet ? |
Not yet, unless you want to serenade me.
|
I can't sing.....you should download something....
|
I do regularly. What should I get, something sweet, or maybe something else like Joe walsh? What do you think will suit me?
|
have you tried Joe Walsh yet ?
|
Yes, although I did not think it was brill, it was ok, I have heard better from him. But then I bet you love the lyrics, which comes in twos etc.
|
I too have heard better from him. I met him a while ago, and have the 'Rocky Mountain Way' Picture Disc record framed on the wall next to me...
Those lyrics are great though, and right up 'our' street :) |
I saw the Rolling Stones at Wembly in the Summer, they were awesome. It was expensive at £120 each. But I am so glad to have seen them perform, as they have to be one of the best bands still going after so many years.
|
Best Band next to YES....I hope you meant.
Most I've ever spent on a ticket was 45.00 The biggest challenge for me at gigs is to blagg my way in. Got right past Britney's security once, right to the dressing rooms.... but that is another story. And no I didn't meet her, she cancelled at the last minute..... I was only there because Uriah Heep and Focus were playing. I ended up doing a duet backstage with Thijs Van Leer from Focus of BarBar Blacksheep. I got past all the secuirty, as I had a red pass for the bar afterwards, and the secuirty were colourblind, and thought it was a blue AAA pass.... I was soooo gutted to find Britneys dressing room (2 venus share one backstage) was empty because she had thrown a Diva moment and pull out..... Not that a YES fan cares !!!!! |
Sorry to say that I have never heard of YES.
*Kitty puts her hands over her cute little ears as Ernie screams!* I have been to many concerts. The best by far was the Rolling Stones. The last I saw was David Bowie, in Dublin, he was out standing. I am back in Dublin to see the Counting Crows next month. |
>Sorry to say that I have never heard of YES.
Ernie does more than scream. Ernie cries..... Do the following not rings bells : Owner of a Lonely Heart Roundabout The band that Rick Wakeman is a member of.... ???????? Surely there must be a glimmer of recognition ? If you have seen Spinal Tap, the stage set of the pods and the guitarist getting trapped in one of them is based on YES.... |
Quote:
I tend to be someone who recognises tunes by listening, half the time I don't pay attention as to who performs them, but if I heard it, then I would probably say, oh yes, I know that song. Have you stopped crying yet? Or do I need to make you stop? |
You need to make me stop.....
Say something I'll enjoy the sound of :) |
Barbara Winsor!
Did that work? |
YES !!!!!!!!!! Such thoughts are right up my street.....funnily enough.....
Now go download Highlights - The Best of YES...... Then if you like it, go buy some so they can stop moaning that after 40million sales they are hard up..... |
Would that make you feel better?
|
No..... Babs Windsor has achieved that :)
In all seriousness, for a guy trapped in a vicious circle of lonelyness, this is most fun.... |
I am glad you are enjoying the social side to Fleets.
|
Well you've hit me with pillows and tickled me..... I should get my own back.... And I can only fire one worse thing off, the worst thing there is....
Worse than being tickled, worse than being hit with a pillow.... I could suggest that you watch the Star wars holiday special..... Now bounce back from that !!!!! |
