Dr. Zee decides the best thing for the dying children aboard the Galactica is for them to go to Earth, and a Cylon attack necessitates an early landing for a group of them, and damage to their ship promises they will be stranded there earlier than expected. Once on earth, they discover that the difference in gravity between the Galactica and Earth have given them "super powers", the ability to leap great distances and terrific strength. Troy decides to outfit the children as scouts, and Dillon accidentally robs a bank to pay for it. When the military decides to investigate their landing, Jamie tags along to be reunited with her Galactican friends..After three of the children get sick, Troy and Dillon take them to a local Doctor’s office, where they find poison in their system. Their first assumption is that they are physically unsuited for life on the planet, but they quickly trace the problem to chemicals in a polluted lake the children drank from. They trace the pollution to a chemical plant, and stir up trouble for themselves, the children, and Jamie with the local law. Dr. Zee unveils a new type of ship, which he takes, with Adama, to Earth for the aid of the children, and shows the chemical plant manager the future in his hands. After repaying the bank, Troy and Dillon are called away on a special project, and leave the children in Jamie’s hands.

As with the first ep ........ this one left alot to be desired
in the writing dept. Universal placed so many restrictions
on the cast, crew and the show in general there was no
way to save it.

This one was really Jumping The Shark out of the gate. It begins great. A new Cylon fighter craft, the A-B is introduced. McCord didn't want the kids in the show knowing that it meant a lame plot. He even told the suits citing the example of Adam 12. Kids watched it but weren't part of the cast.

That's a good question. I've got the episode on DVD.
