I remember when I was a kid I was in the cub scouts, and as the oldest I was asked to assist our new member who had Downs Syndrome. He was a fantastic lad called Martin.

During the whole time I was looking after him, I only played one trick on him. He had been winding me up, or something like that...

We were playing catch with some other kids, and as I caught the ball I swapped it with a small green waterbomb hidden behind my back. He caught it and it exploded all over him !!!!!!!

We thought it was hilarious, and so did he, but only after we had explained that not all tennis balls were not really filled with water, and he hadn't really broken it !!!!!

I am very fond of water bombs......

Ernie I am glad to see that you took time to be nice to a boy with Down Syndrome at such a young age. For that you get a big thanks. I know how making those kids feel accepted and part of something is awe inspiring and down right beautiful. My youngest sister was born with Downs. she acts just like a typical 16 yr old. Even was a bridesmaid at my wedding this summer.
