It is overcast here, we did have constant rain all last week. I kept getting soaked on my dog walks.

had a thunderstorm last night and possibly more today!

When our pet dog was alive, she wasn't a quivering mess during a thunderstorm...

She was under the bed....

Pet dog story :

We used to have a pet dog called Sheba. This story is before I was born though. My late father used to have a small yacht, and he took my mother shortly after they were married for a week away on a lake....

Each night though (and knowing my father, he would not have been amused at this) he would have to wade ashore with this dog so it could do its 'business' for the night. He would then have to wade back with her to the boat. The water was really cold....

On the last night, he forgot to do this and had just got into bed with his newly married wife when....he heard a whine...

The dog wanted to go... He got up, picked up the dog (who reportadly quite liked these trips) he went to the side of the boat. Next my mum heard was a splash and my dad coming back to bed....

He just got cosy again, when they started hearing this whine from the shore. And another whine....

The poor bloke had to once again climb overboard and wade to the shore, to collect the somewhat indignant waiting dog....

I miss my doggie, I miss my Dad..... and I also miss that yacht !!!!!!!
