So what do you do at weekends?

Fridays I usually do a few errands. Saturdays mostly relax & get together with friends in the afternoons. Sundays I have to work. So I have to leave here at 3pm my time to get to work.

Not nice having to work on a day of rest.

I know but with where I work it is mandatory that everyone has to work on one of the weekend days which means working on either friday, saturday, or sunday. So I figure if I am gonna have to work one of them work sunday & that way I can have friday & saturdays off to get together with friends & family.

That is what I would choose, if that was me, too.
So what is it you do, if you do not mind me asking?

I work in customer service for the local cable company. Basically I take in coming calls for those that are having trouble with their cable & others that are wanting to get cable set up or disconnect.

Do you enjoy your job?

It is a job until I can find something better. I don't want to be at this job for the rest of my life.

What would you love to do?

Would rather be doing an office type job. I had double majored in WordPerfect & Legal Clerical in college. But haven't been able to get anything in the Legal Clerical area at all. The places I have found are wanting someone that already had 2 to 5 years of experience or spoke German.

That is always the way. They want you to have the qualifications and experience, but if no one lets you through the door, how will you get the experience. It sucks!

Yep, big time. So I will just make due for the time being until I can find something better.

I have problems like that. I am either over qualified or dont have the experience.

Yep. Same here. But one does what one has to in order to pay the bills & be able to go to conventions each year when able to go.

Time for me to head on off to work for 6 hours. Will be back on tonight after I get home from work.
