Carnivale Cancelled

From The Zocalo Today:

HBO confirmed that it is canceling CARNIVALE, its Depression-era supernatural drama, after two seasons. HBO had produced a total of 24 episodes in the show's run. Variety reported that HBO entertainment president Carolyn Strauss said the network had "decided not to renew Carnivale" because the series had come to a natural end. Nick Stahl and Clancy Brown starred in CARNIVALE, which was created by Daniel Knauf.

I enjoyed the first season on DVD, but haven't seen any of the second season. I do know the ratings for the second season weren't what they had hoped for and I've heard that most of that is due to R.D. Moore leaving the show to focus entirely on Galactica. Anyone here watch the second season?
