Sheesh, I can't seem to wake up in the morning anymore. I was getting up at 5:00AM for months and loving it, now I get up at 7:30, look around, and fall back asleep. Must be these awful nightmares. Can't seem to get any real sleep.

Hi Rowan! They're awful. Every night without a miss I get these terrible nightmares. You know the kind when your responses are not your own and you feel helpless. My poor spouse is so upset with me, all night long I scream and flail and wake everybody up. Many nights I just give up and go downstairs to sleep on the couch (my spouse gets up at 4:30AM so sleep is a must).

So the next day I'm so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. And of course I feel almost like I've been violated. Oh well, I guess there are worse things. :(

Muffit If you can remember these 'nightmares' maybe you can learn about
directive dreaming. My councillor taught me it in order to help me deal
with my 'issues' as well as my 'nightmares'. It's where you direct your
attention to the nightmare, etc .........and visualize a 'different' ending. It
sounds simple .......it's not though. It does work for me.

In any case I'll keep you in my prayers. :rose:

I do hope they stop soon, its horrible to have them, especially if they are reaccurring.

I once had a dream where my car broke down at night,
the following night it came true.
So did the other parts of my dream, which I found strange, as they were not things you would expect to happen day to day.
