 The tires for my mom's car cost more than mine do. Cost on 1 of her tires would just about cover the cost for 4 tires on mine.

Just pulled out the receipt from where I paid for my tire this morning. The tire that was put on this morning was a P205/55R16 Michelin Exalto Pilot 91H 29192. Don't know what all that mean, but it might give ya an idea on the type of tire that was put onto my car. Cost on the tire was $137.11 before tax & solid waste charge.

No worries. I wrapped the recipe in a very sparkly, shiny golden wrapping paper, plus it has little silver stars all over it.
You are welcome to the biscuits as well as the honey.

Thank you for the present.

doc834 September 22nd, 2005 12:42 AM

I'll take te tread, for a while, thank you

kriechbaum September 22nd, 2005 01:43 AM

Have you tried eating snails Compass? Especially if one does not eat them raw, but they are well done in butter/garlic sauce with a bottle of Martini Bianco close by, to wash them down. They can be delicious.

Do you really speak Latin?

Spike The Cylon September 22nd, 2005 09:09 AM

suddenly I'm not hungry :P

mocha2112 September 22nd, 2005 09:17 AM

Either am I... ;)

How you doing today, Spike? Keeping that ol' chin up?

holodoc2000 September 22nd, 2005 11:00 AM

mocha2112 September 22nd, 2005 12:20 PM

Long enough, little bear? ;)

kriechbaum September 22nd, 2005 02:28 PM

I trust little bear with the thread.:) Here you go little bear.

*throws the thread to holodoc2000*

*intercepts the toss to 'doc*

kriechbaum September 22nd, 2005 05:07 PM

Nice save warhammerdriver:) Don't you trust little bear to catch it herself? I think you mentioned somewhere your expertise with cars, what about knitting? Since the little bear did not get the thread to play with, maybe you should knit her a sweater, or a scarf at the very least :D

braxiss September 22nd, 2005 05:27 PM

i'll be taking the thread now

kriechbaum September 22nd, 2005 05:46 PM

Ow please Sir. It was such a lovely thread, such beautiful precious fluffy thread. Could I have it back? Ow Sir, Please Sir. It would mean ever so much :(

Ow thank you Sir. Thank you, you wouldn't regret it Sir. I promise :D

braxiss September 22nd, 2005 05:53 PM

Chacun a son goût. ...Although the 'coons near my house seem to like snails.

Anankāi d'oude theoi makhontai.

...the honest truth is that I'm much better with translation software and common phrases than with the language itself.

warhammerdriver September 22nd, 2005 06:11 PM

Impressive, Compass. But it won't keep the thread for you.

tee hee! :D Scarf would do nicely with winter coming in the near future. ;)

Compass September 22nd, 2005 07:27 PM

But as a bear, you've got a big heavy fur coat already.

holodoc2000 September 22nd, 2005 07:30 PM

tee hee! :) Having a nice scarf though would still come in handy. ;)
