Shuttle Launch Videos
Not sure if I've shared these before but I've uploaded them to YouTube. The first is a NASA edit of a daytime shuttle launch:

They invited us to the VIP section at the Cape because of my work in Iraq. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwG1-mC2T4Y The second does give a sense of what its like to be at the launch rather than getting the TV edits. It also shows that the families of senators and NASA execs act pretty much like everyone else when they see a spaceship race into outer space. This video is unique in that it shows the shuttle shoving the clouds out of the way as it passes through them. All my best, Russell |
