Lost and 'The Last Supper'?

First G.I.N.O. and now Lost too.

What gives?

Is this a new craze? Everybody needing to copy something in religous "The Last Supper" overtones for some reason?

:errr:

o.k. so what gives with all this. I'm for subtle references bibical references in TV shows and all, but whats with 'The Last Supper' getting the poster style nods for shows like last year's G.I.N.O and now Lost all of a sudden?

Anybody?

It's okay to bash Christianity, either subtily, or with a sledgehammer, as the "artist" chooses. If anyone complains, we hear the usual whining bleat about "artistic freedom", and "free expression", and so forth. The "artists" know full well that 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of Xtians will complain, but do nothing about it. They are safe from retaliation.
Now, should they try something similar, with the events and imagery from a certain other religion...
You get the idea.

Yeah. Better not attempt that with those Kobollians. You said it, Sen.;)
