the family who fights together stays together....
 

I have always thought of fleets as my home away from home. I have met some of the most wonderful people here. I truely care about everyone here..........In the last couple of days I have come to realize we are like a family. With everything that entails. Including the fights and hurt feelings and genuine concern. When I have had some difficult times this year it was the people here at fleets I turned to. So, I thought I would share my obsevation with everyone here. We might get all upset at times but just like in a real family you come back and try and work it out. And that is my hope for all of us here........no matter what are views are about Galactica or the world around us that we can come together express ourselves support each other and find a place where we feel good. Am I asking too much???? Maybe, but I believe in it, and in the almost year I have been here I have felt it. Thanks to all of you!

And the thing is, is that a home is about people not the walls that encompass a house. Galactica is the center.....no matter where we all go or where we end up.........we have galactica at the center. That is our community. I will be around the community and all the wonderful people I have met a long time...you can count on that!

It's jut like at home!

I can fall out, and have blazing rows with my family, my pals or my workmates about any subject. Usually within 10 mins its all blown over and we are having a laugh again.

It's just like that here! :LOL: So stick with us Julix. And if BRG ever gets you wound up, don't be afraid to slap me around a bit! I don't mind, and I'll buy you a beer after we have cooled down! :)

we're stuck with our families but are so lucky that the friends we choose can become the family we never had or at least we wish we could have been a part of. Everyone here is family. We may fight like cats and dogs but we still have each other. We should never be afraid to reach out to that one person that's hurt or lost. We have to be here for each other no matter what.
