oopsy! I know what that is like I have 7 cats right now and have often had to smooth that path it should all be resolved in a matter of days! Just show the old cat a lot of affection and attention good luck! ;) :D

I only ever seem to have bad luck as well! I empathize!

She'll do a lot of hissing at first and take a few swipes but it should probably be ok it's unusual for a female cat to actually harm a baby I'd be concerned if the adult cat was an unutered male.

Hey no problem :D been through it soooo many times never had anything bad happen the kitten usually seems oblivious to the older cats distress they can be little brats that way!

My favourite thing about introducing a kitten to an older cat is after things have settled down you will rediscover your older cat! She will start to act like a kitten again it's the most remarkable thing! Suddenly they are full of energy and playing with the kitten and it's like your old cat is reliving their youth so nice to see!
