hey Holodoc, just see in you avatar that you are from Greer, S.C....My hometown is Clover, S.C.!!! We used to play Greer in High School Football...... well, way back when anyways...in the 60s...lol

I was just treated to an "Omaha Steak". Omaha Steak is an nationwide beef company. They serve uncooked beef steak cuts of a very high quality to customers. They also have their own ranches so you know their cattle had no connection to that Mad Cow scare. its also suppose to be a healther steak do to how they raise the cattle and treat the meat.

The meat costs a little more. But its safe. And quite frankly it was the best steak I have ever eaten.

I am not real crazy about red meat.... I don't eat it very much but when I do, I like the best.....wish I could be a vegeterian....but years of conditioning keep me going back...I hate to think about the slaughter of the cows and wish it could be done more humanely.....but I can't do anything about it because people don't see them as understanding animals, just food on the table and it hasn't stopped me from eating it yet.....

emerita... I didn't grow up in the Greer area. Just moved from across town to here a little over 6 years ago. I attended Mauldin High School. Don't know if that rings a bell for ya or not.
