I like the quote that says amongst others they can't wait to bring the Ovions to people. Yowser.

For some reason, the link won't work for me while I'm at work...

Wow. Fantastic! As a long-time Mego collector (yes, I bought them back in the early 1970s), this is great news. The 8" "Megoesque" size and price will be easier to collect than the Majestic 12" figures, and perhaps we'll finally have shot at an Athena figure? You can pretty much nail it down that the first four releases will be Apollo, Starbuck, Cylon, and perhaps either Ovion or Adama.... Greatness!

That would be frakk'in awesome!!

I think the fourth would be Adama. I mean let's face it, he was cool.

And you know what would be really cool? A Viper for these toys. Sure it would be huge, and here is an idea, tell me if you think this is too out there...

Sell a Viper in three parts or as one complete set.

Sell the cockpit. Good for putting the 8" figure in and displaying on the shelf.

Sell the front nose cone, and then sell the back thruster section and wings. All parts could be snapped together to make one fairly huge toy ship, but I think some would just buy the cockpit.

Anyway, I thought it was always a shame the 4" figures did not sell the Viper and Cylon ships. I think sales would have soared with that.

I have been stoked abou these things for a while.

They look pretty good, but the likeness of Starbuck isn't exactly on the money to me.

The Adama looks good though.

I just hope that they don't suffer the same way that the Dark Shadows line did.

With squishy heads, sculpted hair for the females, as well as overly large noggins for the females. That was one of the things that bugged me about classic Megos. The females all had humongous heads compared to their first articulated figure, Dinah Mite.

As long as the girls have REAL hair, proportionate heads and well done uniforms, helmets and weapons, I won't quibble TOO much.
