FAR FRAKING OUT!!!!!! |
For those that did not get this sheet in their instructions, as it was last minute.
This point about the Laser Cannons need to be stressed as to the correct way to mount them. Don't get nasty! :D http://i9.tinypic.com/2ag3qds.jpg http://i9.tinypic.com/307pa4x.jpg |
Sweet! Thanks Mike!
|
Hoping you do post a finished, painted build-up of one of these long-awaited vipers. :D
|
|
I'll get to posting some pics later tonight. Just real busy. ;)
|
Not so busy that he had to call me while looking for some Count Chocula at the food market! .....which they did NOT have! the communist! :/:
ARGHHHH!!!! I want my Count Chocula!!! |
The 1st pic here is the detailing of the flush vent ribs being installed. http://i9.tinypic.com/2ducod4.jpg Next is the fitting of the engine cans, and I decided to take it further with the detailing, by actually using several different sizes of Dremel engraving bits and cutting down deep and up under the details to give more realistic depth. Then the final pic is just the begining of paint detail, much more to do to finish this up, but it is the hardest part to make look believeable. GOODNIGHT!!! :rotf: http://i10.tinypic.com/4d4cw0j.jpg http://i10.tinypic.com/4hmogeo.jpg :D |
......KUHN Viper....?????????
Are we calling this something else...again? :wtf: Nice detailing. Again...I can't wait to get my hands on them. :D |

I'm doing a build-up for him and Dilbertman. And who better to do a build-up than the people that blueprinted and created the master? :D |

Man this sucka is BIG! :wtf: Thanks to all that were involved in bringing this kit to life like Tom, Coby and to Terri for all her help, understanding, wuv and all that other stuff and a big thanks for Mike for hanging in there and not just calling the whole thing off when things got deep. Too bad I can not just start on this right now but I have too much money and effort wrapped up in my 1/35 scale FLYING SUB. Rock on!!!! :salute: |
Hey mike.
Would it be possible to have a sent list and a waiting list. Everyone is excited and can't wait to know. I am also interested in seeing where I fit in on the list. Thanks, Barry. |

Waiting.......Waiting........ (drumming fingers on table.....)
Well....while I wait for my DeSanto Mk 2 Vipers.... Here is some pics of my Yellow Squadron Recon Viper that I just rebuilt last week to compete in my local IPMS contest. (It didn't win anything ... those guys are more into tanks and planes then SciFi stuff.) But I did get it done. I finally did a cockpit for it...did a Male pilot and Female co-pilot/spotter.... and cut off the old burner cans and used my Burner Can Set. Here it is for your enjoyment while we wait. |
