Darth Marley April 7th, 2005 10:33 PM

Sad to hear that you were injured.
I hope they are giving you effective and enjoyable medications.

The 14th Colony April 7th, 2005 11:56 PM

It was a car accident, aye? Did Spike the Cylon have a pile-on? Thank for lords of Kobal you were spared more serious injuries, and are of good spirits about the whole mess. Take care of yourself and be well, hopefully with as little discomfort as possible. And like Darth Marley said, hopefully with some sweet pain meds to make you feel relaxed and trippy. :salute:

amberstar April 8th, 2005 04:26 AM

OUCH..........I'm sorry that you were hurt Spike, but thankful it wasn't worse.

jewels April 8th, 2005 10:11 AM

I hope the pain meds kill the pain and don't make you trippy.....trippy is not always fun and can lead to potential embarrassment after the fact.

Glad to hear things are going as well as they are, Spike - sorry they're going this way at all, of course, but you can't have everything.

Take advantage of the down time however you can!

;)

Get better soon.

Glad to hear your ok ... get better soon.

Spike The Cylon April 8th, 2005 01:54 PM

the good news is that the doctor say I get to go home tomorrow instead of Monday. They wer afraid they migt have missed something, cause when I was brought in, I looked prety bad, but, they assure me that the broken leg and ribs is all the damage there is.

My parent's stopped by my house this morning, and picked up a few of my DVDs, so I've been watching TOS BSG. Right now, I'm on "War of the Gods." My mom also picked me up a copy of the Revenge of the Sith novel.

Breea April 8th, 2005 02:26 PM

Glad you're doing better and having fun watching your dvd's...anything we can send ya..? If so, e-mail privately and we'll see what we can do.( grandma of the group)

Glad to hear you're doing better.
Remeber to breathe with your diaphram, it won't move your chest as much and will make that one job less painfull.

And if he gets the technique right, there is a career in opera, or as a town crier , waiting at the end!! :D :D

All the best for the recovery, Spike,

Cheers,
Lara

OUch! Sorry to hear that Spike! Glad you are up and doing well (I'd also responded on Lt. Omegas' thread).

It's cool that you can use your laptop to occupy the time. Beween the food and tv programming, hospital's are a dangerous place to stay long, not to mention the bacteria!

Did your motorbike fare as well or do we need to a eulogy for it? :Nsalute:

Take it easy and keep us posted!

Best,
Rigel

Spike The Cylon April 9th, 2005 06:35 AM

I was in my sister in law's car, and it is way beyond repair, but, it was a ford, so no big loss :D

Anyway, I'm at home now.
