One of those things I had in my childhood but somehow lost before reaching adulthood was a set of "Battlestar Galactica Blueprints" I bought at a Flea Market.
At the time it was less cool than I had expected it to be, but right now it is exactly what I'd want. See, it wasn't schematics of the stuff from the show, it was actual blueprints of the sets.
:yikes:
It only had like 4 things. I remember it had the Galactica Bridge, and a Viper, and one of the little LandRams (the open cockpit, treaded pickup things).

Now for the thing you might not know (the only detail I remember from all of this stuff):
The landrams were built on a standard Caterpillar tractor (the LandRam body was plywood). The weird, jerky kinda movement was produced by the simple fact of building the body backwards, so to go "forward" you had to put the thing in "reverse". The driver sat on the engine hood and ran the standard lever controls upside down, while the little "hood" of the vehicle and the headlights were where the seat normally is.

If I still had those bluebrints I could build an authentic little LandRam to drive around, but they either got thrown away or sold.

Every so once in a while while doing searches for Battlestar stuff on eBay, I see a set of those blueprints available for sale at reasonable prices. I think I've actually seen it under $10. I'm sure you'll be able to find them there.
