Well I just seen a commercial for the 2005 TV Land awards and as they were showing pieces of past shows, low and behold, I seen some Cylon raders flying in space.
So what does this mean? is this the year for Galactica to get some what of a nod?
I guess we will just have to watch and find out.
Up here, it's on this wednesday night. Not sure if it aired already in the states or not.

I assume that if it's TVLand, they must have been showing clips from the original show, correct? Otherwise, I wouldn't see why they'd bother...

Yup, I'm talking about Battlestar Galactica 1978.
Every body is welcome to like anything made in the last few years that sports the same name and I respect that but I'm only interested in 1978 Battlestar Galactica so anytime you see me post anything about BSG, Its a pretty safe bet that this is the one I'm talking about. :)
Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

Yupper, Everyone recognizes that the original Galactica has appeal except for anyone with some clout, who are also afraid to take a chance on a continuation.
If Paramount owned the Galactica property, The big screen continuation would have been done long ago and we would be talking about the 6th movie right now.

Just watched Entertainment tonight and they did a story on the TV Land awards.
They said that the message on every body's mind for the night was re-union for the well loved shows.
I'm still not sure if they will mention Galactica or not but when I think about everything that took place over the last five years I would just like to say
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
There now, that was a nice happy release.

I beleive your right and I also beleive this is going to be post 2000 for me.
I know I have more post then that but when the post count got lost on here, I couldn't remeber just how many I had so I under estimated just to be safe when I was asked how many I had. It wouldn't have been much more then this by now anyway. This is way cool. :)

Congrats on 2000. I saw the commercial for the awards and the clip from Galactica. Shatner is one of the presenters.

I never saw the clip, but I watched every minute of the awards show - I usually catch it anyways as I like to see some of the classic shows get their due. Even if it is long after their time has come and gone as first run programming.
I was also a bit disappointing when I never saw any mention of BSG, but I still had a good time watching.
Best,
Bryan
