It could be Leda from the episode Gun on Ice Planet Zero. The art is by Frank Frazetta. I believe this was also the ad used for the original series when it was broadcast in September of 78.

The novel may be of "Saga," but that cover is from the 1979 novel "The Cylon Death Machine," which is the novelization of "Gun on Ice Planet Zero."

Why they reprinted this is beyond me. I purchased the last printing which contained The Cylon Death Machine as well as Saga. I hope they print the rest, Living Legend and War of the Gods.
