NIGHT STALKER:

According to Variety, an updated NIGHT STALKER has been ordered by ABC from former The X-Files executive producer Frank Spotnitz. The show will rework the 1970s classic which detailed a hardboiled journalist's investigations into freakish occurrences.

Yes!!! Makes sense that an X-files producer would want to do it, since that show was one of the inspirations for the X-Files.
