Well...Imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning and found a forum specifically dedicated to my humble little fanfic "Battlestar Galactica: Dark Exodus" and its sequel "Battlestar Galactica: Reciprocity".
WOW!
I was blown away. Thank you so much, Thomas7g. I am honored.
Folks, I am so inspired by everyone who has taken time to read and enjoy Dark Exodus, and provide me with their critiques...and by their wonderous praise of the teaser trailer I made for it.
I have not given up on Reciprocity. It is just really really difficult trying to write a sequel that compliments, and surpasses the original story....so it's REALLY slow in coming.
As soon as I get a little bit more advanced gear for my computer...I have possibly another project in mind for Dark Exodus. :)
Welcome everyone to the Dark Exodus Project Forum...and also, please be sure to visit the Colonial Library for many other fine fanfics by our talented members here.
With the GREATEST of appreciation, I welcome you all,
Martok2112 (Steve Dunlap)

Steve -
Mon Congrats on your very own forum! It's well deserved, buddy! Anyone that can write a novel like that, has earned their own "place in the sun"...
Best always,
Bryan

Thank you very much, Bryan.
Now I am contemplating a slightly larger project for DE....
I guess this forum was aptly named "The Dark Exodus Project"
:D
Let's turn up the juice and see what shakes loose!
Thank you all again for supporting my humble little stories,
Martok2112

Have fun Steve!
Thanks, Tom....
....and I plan on it! :D I hope to make it a fun ride for everyone...and I might just solicit a little help in the near future. :)
I can say that Archangel is working on the screenplay adaptation of Dark Exodus as we speak. (originally, DE started out as a treatment, then a screenplay, and then I started working on the fanfic novel version, and ultimately gave ALL of my attention to the fanfic novel.)
If you look at the end credits on my teaser trailer, you will see Archangel's real name credited with the screen play (in conjunction with mine) :D
Respectfully,
And Happy New Year to ALL,

Where is the trailer you folks are talking about?

Howdy, sdwebguy,
Right now, to my knowledge, the teaser trailer has not made the transition to the new Fleets location.
You can however catch it at my Yahoo group.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BSGCon
Join the group...then look in FILES...click on Dark Exodus DC Teaser.WMV
There, you can also find my stories "Battlestar Galactica: Dark Exodus" (completed) , and "Battlestar Galactica: Reciprocity" (still in the works)....if the teaser has enticed you to read the story. You can find the stories in the files section under "Martok2112's Stuff". It is 34 chatpers with an epilogue. (260 pages)
I hope you enjoy it.
Respectfully,
Martok2112 :salute: :Nsalute:
