Galacticon DVD Question

I finally got one of the Galacticon 2003 DVD's while I was at Galaxy Con last month. I put it in the DVD player for the first time tonight... and no sound. I vaguely remember this discussion when the DVD's first came out... does anyone remember if there was a "fix" for this, or am I just SOL?
