Beautiful....I rented Halo 2 and Sudeki just a couple days ago....both are very addictive games. I wish my old guitar player was still in town, he would LOVE to deathmatch on Halo (and Halo 2). After most gigs, we used to go up to the hotel rooms and just deathmatch for a couple hours (unless of course we had a couple o' hot chicks in tow. :D )
Lovin every minute of it,
Martok2112

Glad you got it, braxiss. Now, I just need to get Halo 2, and Xbox live, and start getting my astrums kicked :D

Arise, and assume the postition of meditation, oh eager student, and learn you shall.
(no...no...no.... take your hands off the wall...sit cross legged on the floor.) :D
Master Martok is about to speak.....(a reverent silence falls across the room...since it's only occupied by one other person)
In order to get to the gravity lift, you will end up fighting off a few waves of Covenant troops of varying types....grunts and a couple more advanced creatures..especially those with shields)
You will, at the beginning of this part of the stage, try to snipe off as many of the grunts and warriors as you can. Once they are onto you, you will need to try and get to one of the seat cannons, and just continue blowing them away as you can. Go for the closest seat cannon, which is right in front of and above you as you enter the area.
After you have fended off those few waves, you will encounter two HUNTERS. The big armored bada$$es with heavy swords.
They have a weakness.
Now, if you can keep from revealing your position immediately, they might not even see you. If you still have a sniper rifle, try to aim at them when their backs are turned toward you. You will see an orange area, which is exposed skin. (you will see other, smaller exposed areas under their helmets, and in their abdominal area, but they are much smaller than the backside area) One good shot to this area with either the sniper rifle or the standard pistol will kill them instantly.
If you are forced into close combat with these guys, pray that you have a standard pistol. When they charge at you, dodge to one side or the other...it takes them a couple of seconds to recover their maneuverability...and you can nail them in the exposed back with a pistol shot. When you've eliminated them both, you will be able to gather up a few extra things on the ground while the dropship brings in the other Marines. When you have what you need. you then step onto the pad,, and the game takes it from there.
I hope these wise words will gain you much progress through your journey, Grasshoppa. Now go, and be victorious.
With the blessings of the Master,
Martok2112 :D

Now, I have HALO 2. But, I also have a complaint.
XBOX LIVE SUCKS!
Even if you pay for the prepaid card which is supposed to give you online service for Xbox, you still have to have a major credit card.
Felgercarb, anyone?
