Hello all!!!

Well, I finally visited my old friend in Little Rock this last weekend. It was so wonderful to see him again after all these years, and to meet his sweet wife who bent over backwards for us. The drive took us 5 and a half hours, but that was mainly cuz we got lost, eeks. Nothing like driving from a place you are totally new to, all the way to another state you have never seen either, LOL.

My daughter made me so proud. She is the pickiest eater, yet she politely accepted everything she was offered at dinner, and cleaned her whole plate! Then when he set her up on a PC video game so we could chat, she blew him away with her considerable talent at mastering new games. Ah, parenting can be very rewarding ;)

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, and be sure to call or visit an old friend and renew your hearts...

Fondly,
Muffit

nice to hear that you had a good time. Your daughter sounds like my younger brother a few years ago with video games!

Sounds like a nice time, Muffit. Did you get a chance to see the new Clinton Presidential Library?

Thanks Bsg, BST and Julix!!

No, we didn't actually see the library, however we were lost on that same street, LOL. They had changed the name of Cantrell to Clinton Drive something or other, and so we thought we were on the wrong street...

Beautiful country though!! My friend has a couple acres of forest, yet it's still in the city limits - try THAT in California!! ;)

Thanks all so much for your kind words!!

I'm glad your eastward move is working out, Muffit. It takes a lot of.... um... courage, to do that. :D
