Adama: "A sly one, that Klingon."
Tigh (smiling) : "He knows a good deal when he sees it. Maybe we should send him on the next grain mission."
Adama (wincing) : "You're an evil one, Tigh"
Tigh: "Muwahahahahaha!"

Yes, Martok's childhood is coming back to him. Thanks guys.
Potemkin, seems like we have both found little treasures. :D
BST, that was LMAO hilarious.
Tag, I am still waiting to get the Firefly boxed set as well. I really look forward to seeing some of the greatest sci-fi that never got its chance. :) Looking forward to some good discussions on that. (BTW, I saw someone that looked almost EXACTLY like you at the place where I host Karaoke. I almost wanted to go ask if it was you. If it's any consolation....your clone was accompanied by two lovelies. --However, if I see a clone of you that is exactly 1/8 your size...I am runnin' for the frackin hills!) :D
Gonna enjoy me some classic Galactica now,

....all was quiet on the bridge of the Klingon warship, Deadeye, and General Martok was perusing his list of conquests that day when, a figure slips in from the shadows...
"Yoo hoo," whispered the mysterious visitor.
Startled, Martok sprung from his chair and leveled his disruptor on the shadowy guest. He shouted, "WHO are you?". The voice replied, "I'm disappointed in you, General, surely you couldn't have forgotten me that quickly." The figure stepped out from the shadow to reveal none other than Siress Belloby.
Martok collapsed in a heap.

Is that Mission Galactica: The Cylon Attack....? That's the only one of the Galactica movies that I was ever able to find. I have one or two of the episode videos that were released in the 90's too.
The one thing I will say about Mission Galactica, is that it seemed to go on forever! I kept waiting for the thing to end, but with the two stories edited together, it wasn't easy to remember where it was supposed to end....
Good find, Steve! I hope you enjoy it!
Best,
Bryan

Martok, Treaure Hunter Strikes Again :DI'm frightfully jealous as I missed taping the 1st hour of that (the BEST PART of course) when Skiffy did a G-80 marathon.
Is this an ebay find?

If you're looking for an original VHS tape of Mission Galactica, I found a couple for you on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=309&item=6342278332&rd=1
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=309&item=6343227543&rd=1
Both are very reasonably priced....
Of course, if you want, I could make a duplicate of the tape that I have!
Best,
Bryan

I was lucky and found both these tapes in a book/magazine store that also deals in a lot of other used items. Movies/games/comics, etc.

Not bad Martok, same thing happen to me way back in 1998. Passing a shop i saw, both Battlestar Galactica and Mission Galactica:The Cylon Attack. You know i had to buy both of them. I got'em at a time when they weren't so available, afew years afterwards i saw plenty of them, but it was quite the bargain when i bought them.
While the editing on Mission leaves much to be desired, for a BG fan it's a must buy. And with DVD burners now all the rage it's time to dsave those tapes we all treasure so much to "digital format" on DVD. Cus you won't see Mission Galactica on DVD nor Conquest Of Earth get a release by Universal Studios (hey never say never but, come on?) I'd say the same goes for the rare telemovies if any one got'em.
Some are out in the U.K. on VHS Tape. But not the now ultra rare LL, GOIPZ, LPOTG and Experiment In Terra.
Anyway, good find Martok. Now if ya got a PC or MAC ....psss "get burning" i know i soon will. It's time to save any and all goodies on tape to DVD.

Actually, I plan on getting on much better computer with DVD burning capabilities...and perhaps a stand alone DVD recorder...yes, I want to put these puppies on DVD asap.
BTW, wasn't there a video made of "The Return of Starbuck" as well?
I thought there was.

And you're right about the editing of MG:TCA. Especially toward the end....seemed wrapped up just a little too fast.
Regardless...these are truly treasures...and should be preserved digitally as soon as I can get the means to. :D

If you saw the first two or three episodes of Galactica 1980 (with a touch of reediting) then you've seen Conquest of the Earth. ;)
Basically, Galactica finds Earth, and it is up to Troy (Boxey) and his friend Dillon to try and enlist the aid of an Earth scientist, and help our planet prepare for a Cylon invasion. An okay movie....but clearly shows the felgercarb that was Galactica 1980.

Very cool. I also have Conquest of Earth. There is added footage of the A-B craft with extended dialogue. The Cylons are braging how this new craft will make quick work of the outdated Colonial Viper.
