Thanks, also, for the link to your site. I look forward to checking it out! :)
Don't be a stranger, here, though. Feel free to mingle with the rest of the crew -- we've got a great bunch of folks here!

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I hope you all will consider joining the online game!
It has a ton of potential, but I need more people to test it out!

Yea, the site is really just a portal to the game, supposed to be functional :)
BTW, if your interested, you bring up the ships command console, you can enter 'test' as the username and logcode (no quotes) and you can get an idea of how that tool works.

Battlestar Cerberus? thee Battlestar Cerberus, the one Adama and Cain served on during their early days during the war with the Cylons in "Bronze Squadron"! The ship Adama had a tour of duty on and one time had 'from what i've heard' frozen up during a battle when three Cylon Raiders had him in the "Cylon Spin Wheel Attack", but was saved by his fellow 'wingman' named Apollo but was killed by doing so. After that he named his first born son in his friend honor!
According to Maximum Press comics, in the story "Baptism Of Fire" the Cerberus is under the command of "Commander Odysseus" and her executive officer Colonel Imsu!
:)
Thought i'd at least go over the history so far of the Cerberus! Don't suppose the site got her Insignia and Colonial helmet ornament, down and everything? A Three headed Lupus or daggit. Would be nice wouldn't it.
Ah another BG site. Well time to check out the link isn't it.

Please visit the site, and read the brief history there, and it will explain how it got from that point to here!
Thanks for your interest!

Also thought I would mention that I am working on the emblem, however, havnt come up with one I particularly like, (I'm a terrible artist) though I know in concept excatly what it should look like.
I may post some of my 'works in progress' pics if there is any interest! :D

Hmmmmm? Your history different, doesn't say anything about Adama and Cain's tour of duty on her and it's different but similar to Susan J Paxton's story the found in her fanfiction tale "Endings and Beginnings" that being The Cerberus was damaged beyond repair at the Battle of Cosmora Archipelago.
But anyway it's your site your history. :)
I have noticed you've got you music over their on your website from. The Battlestar Galactica DVD's. Not bad.

No, as far as the history, I assume that that was known, and I pick up at the point it was damaged beyond repair.
The parts you mentioned are summed up in this paragraph:
The Battlestar Cerberus was commissioned in 7243. It served in many battles, and survived with an outstanding service record until 7345. In 7345 it was badly damaged, considered beyond repair at the time, and towed to Enoch scrap yard where it languished until 7349 when the 12 colonies were destroyed by the Cylons.
I should point out that the Battle of the Cosmora Archipelago was in 7345, and is the reference in this paragraph.
I didnt want to clash with any other fan Fiction out there, so I picked up the story after the destruction of the colonies, and after the ship was "damaged beyond repair"
I intentionaly left it ambiguous to prevent interference :)
I'll see if I can get a couple of the images I am trying out posted in a bit.

Here are some variants of what I have in mind, remember, I am a terrible artist, but the design concept is what I like.

Like I said, the art is bad, but I think this is the concept I like best.

Food for thought...You might try doing what they did on the original series: find existing patches or insignea from military units and modify them. The three dog heads can also be implied.Remember that the Pegasus used a winged sword for its patch, and only had a detailed winged horse on Viper helmets.

Just keep working and it will get better. :D
Its always good to have inspiration when making art.
I did a google search for cerberus patches and insignias and found these :)
