Yikes, last night it sounded like the United Nations at my place. Everyone globbed in little groups, each speaking a different language (and none of them English, LOL). It was crazy! Now I know why they call it "cacophony -- its onomatopoeia (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=onomatopoeia)!!!
Everyone seeing us off on our first venture out of California. The food was GREAT though. They made something called "beef rundown", jonnycake, and my fav, coconut milk flavored rice and beans (don't gag - it's actually quite good). Only thing missing was Jamaica (pronounced huh-my-kuh) and tamarindo shakes.
But dag nab it all, now I got a cold or flu from packing with the windows open (it's cold). Wish me luck it doesn't set in...
