Did anyone see what the Red Sox has done?!?!
The New York Yankees are one of the best teams in the game of Baseball. And they had the Red Sox down Three games to NOTHING. But the Red Sox has fought back, and become the first team in baseball history to force a game SEVEN!!!!
That's an amazing comeback!!!
Whomever wins tonight at 8PM EST decides it!!!

I guess it's justice....the most storied franchise in the history of the game (NY Yankees) now have the distinction of being the only team to ever lose a post-season series after leading 3 games to 1!!!! The worst defeat ever in the history of the game...

Well, they tore down Babe Ruth's mother's house in Massachusetts & the superstitious players must have believed in it's ability to break "The Curse." Not a big baseball fan, but I love underdogs! Go Sox!
And, of course, this is what will work in the players' minds: It was 1986 when the Sox won their last pennant, it's been 86 years since the Sox won the World Series, so it is time to "86" the curse!

Sox lead 2-0! As I predicted my sister and brother in law claimed that the Sox cheated to win but I said "How could they cheat to win, the Yankees had just as much chances to win!"

I can't believe they actually did it! I stayed up till the last minute, just in case they blew it in the final inning as they have been known to do. I am so very happy to have been proven wrong! Hooray Red Sox!
 :salute:

They got me worried! Saint Louis finally was showing some life there at the end. And they only had 3 points right?
They could have blown it. But they didn't.
Way to go RED SOX!!!!!!!!!
Btw- freaky coincidink- did you notice the moon turned a definite RED color during the game???!!!?!?!? I think someone up there liked the game.

Well done Red Sox!
Although Baseball is not as popular as American Football over here, I work beside a few fans of the sport. One Red Sox fan came into work this morning roaring "The curse of the Bambino is over!!! ", as you could imagine, a lot of the guys wondered what the hell he was on!
I caught the tail end of most games before leaving for work(03:30-04:00 in the UK!) But as I have Friday off I was planning to watch game 5, :/: You would have thought they would give me a break and let the Cardinals win one game! ;)

PS- A guy in the work put a wee trivia question to us this morning. With the Patriots & Red Sox holding the NFL and MLB titles, how many times has the NFL & MLB teams from the same city been champions at the same time?
The only one I was sure of was the NY Mets and NY Giants in 1986-87. Surely this has happened a few times?
