She looks the part at least, unlike the worrying rumour that Beyonce Knowles will be Ms Lane in the new Superman film(If it ever gets made!). I've never heard of Erica Durance. She certainly looks hot! :drool: But can she act? That is the big question.

PS- Yesterday Channel 4 aired the Perry White episode. I really enjoyed it, and Michael McKean was excellent as Perry! And how cool was it when Clark accidentally threw his dads tractor half way across Kansas! :LOL: :cool:

She's actually really good in the part. Sofar they added some nice depth to her character. And there is some good play with Clark.

They're really kind of different in looks, but the age difference is a factor as well.

I dunno mate, you'd have to be pretty myopic to mistake one for the other!

To my eye - Jaclyn has "more" to her look than this new chick on Smallville. I like the young "Lois", she's got the right personality, but more of a "girl next door" look about her.

A wee bit of Smallville news I've just heard about.

Apparently Jane Seymour , who we all know played Serina in the early episodes of Battlestar Galactica, has signed on to appear in 5 episodes of Smallville! She will play a character called Guinevieve, a rich Metropolis socialite who apparently has a big part to play in Lana's story( sorry for being vague, but we are only on season 3 over here, and I'm trying to avoid BIG spoilers!)

It has also been anounced that Margo Kidder will continue the Virgil Swann story arc after Chris Reeve's sudden death. Dr Swann will pass away later in the season, and Kidder's character Bridgette Crosby will continue his work researching Clark's origins.
Chris Reeve and Margo Kidder were signed up to appear in an episode together towards the end of season 4, sadly this will not happen. But I'm glad they are carrying on the story.

I can vaguely remember that film. The only time I remember watching it would be 20 years ago. I remember my mum enjoyed the film, but my brother and I were outraged that 'Superman' would do a girls film! I have no doubt she looked beautifull, I still think her Solitaire in 'Live and Let Die' is the best looking Bond Girl. She was jaw dropping gorgeous in that film!

Jane also starred with Chris Reeve is "Somewhere In Time", an awesome movie, and perhaps the most beautiful I have ever seen Jane.
I loved "Somewhere in Time" is was a wonderful movie and I always love a time travel element to a movie. I thought they were great together both so good looking and they chemistry between them was good and I saw the were friends up to the day Christopher died and he was godfather to one of her twins(she named Chris) so that says it all..................

The rumour mill regarding the cast of the long delayed Superman movie has been on overdrive lately!
First off, the part of Superman has apparently been cast! Various sources say that unknown actor Brandon Routh will pull on the blue tights as the latest Man of Steel.

As for Lois Lane? The two girls who appear to be favorites are Evangeline Lilly (Lost) and Mischa Barton (The OC). Both look attractive women, Lilly maybe looks more like the comic book Lois, but Barton has a cheeky look that would suit Lois's personality.
But having said that, I've heard so many rumours over the years that I take them all with a pinch of salt.
