This episode was kind of a slow-starter, but it was a good one overall. It was nice seeing Colm Meaney on TV again - I've seen him in a few films, but it's been awhile. I've also never seen him do a role sans his Irish accent - he did a good job of hiding it!

I did hear a reference that made me think of ST:TNG - the race of people in this episode was called the "Jenaii" - there was an androgynous race in and episode of TNG with the same name. Another thing - I could have sworn that I heard Colm Meaney's character refer to a "Federation of Planets"...WTF??? Maybe someone else heard the same thing and could confirm it.

I have more to talk about, but I'll wait until the evening passes as it is still airing on the West Coast (I get the east coast feed).
