I liked Generations too. I thought is was one of the BEST STNG films ever written.

Ya know... I was stunned when Scifi didn't get STNG or DS9 and let Spike get them. That was a BIG mistake.

So true. I managed to catch the ST:TNG episode Gambit before the hurricane hit. Picard pretends to be dead to investigate the theft of various artifacts. The captain of the mercenary ship was played by Richard Lynch ( Wolfe, Xavier, and Count Iblis- BG:TSC ). Sci fi totally went down the tubes when Bonnie failed to aquire the rights to show Star Wars. They also failed miserably when they turned their backs on us and went ahead with a reimagined BG instead of a continuation.

Tom -

It's not that Skiffy didn't try to get it, but Spike outbid them for it. You know how budget conscious they are over at Skiffy - they need all that cash to keep making those crappy "original Sci Fi production" movies they show every Saturday evening.

I agree with you - they should've ponied up the big money. They could've gotten a lot of mileage out of two 7-year long series! Ooooops!

Best,
Bryan

I agree :)

I was lucky to find a copy of the Special Edition DVD here before it was pulled from the shelves. The extra footage is interesting.
