Those are awesome!

Man, to think I was in their office talking to Tom and Bryan three years ago! I sure wish it had gone this way, instead of the way it did.

Nice to see you too. Been busy working on Demonslayers of late, since BSG is beyond my influence anymore, but I still like to drop in and visit when I can. :)

Did you see the other DeSanto Viper thread there?

Or the one here in the Creativity forum? ;)

Saw this one. Didn't see the other one yet.

I think, the next best thing for those who under took the buliding of those beautiful models.

Is to send them off to Tom DeSanto address by mail. As a way of saying There are those who "STILL" believe ;)

Like a big thank you. Imagine Tom's face getting his own Viper M4 design through the post. :D

Now all we need, is for somebody to do the same for Steve Paraday's "Scarlet Viper" and Mike McAdam's "Assault Viper". Also if someone can dream up what a "Duet" and "Azure"- class Vipers from the Richard Hatch novels look like, from their descriptions. The Galactica fanbase could create it own set of models.

My hats off to the creative fans who, inspire ideas and projects like this. It's great to look at and causes one, to think up something to do.

It's Inspirational stuff.

I wonder if anyone can ask "Alfred Wong" outright. If he could create a set or bunch of advanced Vipers that other people have designed for fandom.

I mean since he has designed the DeSanto Viper M4 would he also create. The Scarlet Viper Steve Paraday did for Hatch's Second Coming Galactica trailer. In both grey and red (like it's namesake) Like he has done for DeSanto's? I'd also like to see Mike McAdams' Assault Viper realised like that also.

Along side the classic original you'd have a set of beautiful advanced colonial fighter crafts all scaled down into models and ready to be added to your collection. Buliding such models would be great. with the decals, Viper ship insignia's, a cockpit with a pilot (male or female?) to be painted up along with the model. with the option to make certain changes to your liking, i.e. the freedom to let your imagination to run wild and modifiy the vipers to however you'd see fit.

Hope such a thing is possible in the future. Along with the news of the 'action figures' of BG beloved characters, Battlestar Galactica fans surely would lap this up!
