I agree with a few of them. Foundation (which, ironocally, I just reread today) and a couple of others

I'm pleased to see Phil Dick's "Valis" at the number 6 slot. His "Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch" at 13 is also well worth reading. But Dick is definitely an acquired taste. You either love his work or find it unreadable. They don't even mention his "A Scanner Darkly" which was about the scariest book I ever read. And I always liked "Ubik." I was also happy to see Ursula Le Guin in several spots although I would have added "Tehanu" and 'The Beginning Place."

There are other books on the list I would recommend, and probably quite a few I would like if I gave them a chance. But nowadays I find Asimov's stuff rather boring, Clarke is overrated, Ray Bradbury is the absolute pits, and Edgar Rice Borroughs is not easy to wade through. I want entertainment, not a history lesson. They don't even have Bruce Sterling on the list. What up with that?
