View Full Version : Top 10 Celebrity Lovers of Choice
The 14th Colony
August 9th, 2004, 12:00 AM
This one is for the boys, because I've been asked this question from male friends time and time again. Ross and Rachel had a 5-celebrity list like this in one of the Friends episodes, but when I get asked it's always the top ten. With that said, I should include the gals too for whatever celebrities they'd put on their list.
The question is, if say you were given the chance and the choice from a genie in a bottle, to spend a night with 10 different celebrities of your desire over a time of one per night, who would they be? This is as hypothetical as it gets, obviously, so relationships, marriages, and reality aside, what ten celebrities would you put on your list?
1 Kelli Martin
2 Adriana Lima (look at my avatar!)
3 Stacey Dash
4 Jessica Alba
5 Halle Berry
6 Liv Tyler
7 Mira Sorvino
8 Mila Kunis
9 Meg Ryan
10 Lucy Liu

Wow this was a lot harder than I though!
There is such a big difference for me in finding a man attractive, hot or sexy even and actually wanting to spend a night with him. Then there are actors I’m attracted to on screen but turn me off when I see them interviewed etc. I had to really think about it…imagine it.:D But after much agonizing I narrowed it down to 10 although I would have liked to add a few more, there are so many delicious little juicy morsels out there it’s hard to stop at 10!;) The other thing that made it tricky is the one night aspect I have different criteria for one night than I do for a relationship, so the list is different because of that as well. Women! Always got to complicate things!:D
In no particular order
1-Roy Dupuis
2-Denzel Washington
3-Adrian Paul
4-Keith Urban
5-Lenny Kravitz
6-Jonny Depp
7-Tim McGraw
8-Orlando Bloom
9-Harrison Ford (since I was 13)
10-Robert Redford (since I was 14)

here's mine seeing my hubby don't count!
1-Richard Hatch (our beloved Apollo)
2-Toby Keith
3-Dirk Benedict
4-Tim McGraw
5-Noah Wylie
6-Brad Paisley
7-Mark Hamill
8-Keith Urban
9-Keanu Reeves
10-Viggo Mortensen
If hubby was not available any of these guys would do. I would even let them eat crackers in bed and leave the crumbs!

You should not link the pics from another site directly to here. That's called hotlinking, and what it does is drain bandwidth from the other site that the other site owner winds up paying for. As a former moderator on another board, we had to delete links all the time when people did that. It's like your electricity costing you more than it should, and you find that your neighbor has a extension power chord plugged into your electrical socket to power his light. Just FYI. :)

There is no way for us to upload pics ourselves. If we could, then all you'd have to do is save the image to your hardrive and then upload it directly from your hardrive. Sans that, all you can do it post the link to the pic on the other site, rather than trying to upload the pic from that link.
Otherwise, if we could upload directly from out comps, I would have posted those pics of my prior models from my fashion and glamour days.

This is true. However, any Moderator can do it. All that you need to do is to save the picture as a 'JPEG' or 'GIF' and e-mail it to any of the mods by just clicking on the mod's handle and Select 'Send e-mail to ***' . Attach the picture file to the e-mail and send it on its way. We'll post it as soon as we can.
FYI - just indicate which thread or, better yet, copy the shortcut to the thread so that we know where to post it.

I remember you telling me this a few days ago (a week?), but I had so many pics that I thought it would be a problem. I don't think that if we access the email button in your (or any mod) profile, that we can send a photo from our hardrive to you that way. Through my browser email I can do it by simply clicking the attachment button, but that option isn't reachable through the profile email buttons. Or have I simply not seen the button?

Cool, thanks. I have links to a few image hosting sites that I saved for future use, but I need to read the fine print further on each one to choose the one with the right amount of space you can use on their site, unless they advertise no limits in file sizes.

Damn...prior to my logging off suddenly a few minutes ago, I was browsing some celebrity sites to see if there were any good ones of the other gals on my list. Not adult sites (as if!) but seemingly regular celebrity image sites. Suddenly a Norton Warning Window popped up and said that the Bugbear Trojan virus just downloaded to my computer! It could not kill it or quarantine it, so I went to the Microsoft site and immediately downloaded a security patch that seemed to contain it. Or to be precise, at that point Norton was able to quarantine it. I rebooted and now I'm scanning everything with Norton. I don't know much about Bugbear but I know that it records credit card numbers and passwords, and it's nasty. I sure hope that the new patch and Norton can neutralize it completely. Just goes to show, my people, that you absolutely have to have protection on your computer at all times when online. Norton or McKafee, and definately a firewall (although my firewall didn't seem to do anything this time.), and download all available patches as soon as they are announced. Don't take chances, or with fire you dances.
EDIT: My mistake. It wasn't the bugbear virus, it was the Bloodhound.Exploit.6 virus, and Norton has it quarantined.

Not exactly.
You can upload pictures to the comcast accout webspace without creating a webpage though.
Just go to comcast.net and log in, click on the online storage menu.
Open the "upload files" option in a new window, then go back to the first window and open upload files in yet another window.
This will get you to the upload page without creating a "home page" and you can upload pics from your hard drive.
You will then be able to link to them on the boards, or as avatars.

Nice follow up! :salute:
I never considered myself funny when I was younger, even though people sometimes laughed when I said something unexpected. The ironies of ironies is that over the few years as I've felt more stress and more depression and generally grown in my unhappiness, that the more I've been apt to say things that people don't expect and give them smiles or chuckles. It wasn't until a year or so ago that I accepted that I can be generally funny when I try to be, and sometimes even more when I don't. Which is funny in itself, nearly as much as leeches in garlic and butter sauce can be. See that? I just said something that wasn't even remotely funny, but if I said it as dinner someone would laugh. Comedy can be about saying what people don't expect, contridicting what they were thinking at the moment that causes a reaction. For some reason which I've become very interested in, the reaction is cheer and laughter. I did some reading about that, why people laugh, why the brain causes the reaction known as laughter, and it is fascinating in that it has a lot to do with the causation of contradiction in another person's emotional perception. With that in mind, I stood up one night in a crowded restaurant and announced "Explosive diarreah!" Well, nobody laughed. I got dirty looks for the rest of the evening. I guess certain surprises in the wrong setting don't work as well as others.

Yeah, I wanted the avenging angel look, not the one that shows peace, love or other trivialities. You start puttong to much faith in that, there's no telling how screwed up you're gonna get. :D

I laid out the groundwork for the complete story to a book I had wanted to finishe writing, at a time when I was deep in spiritual faith, about a group of angels who arrived to help 3 men through a battle of spiritual and physical warfare against a group of demon posessed men. The angels appeared gently and peaceful until it was time to throw down and whup ash, at which point they revealed themselves as similar to the angel in your avatar. Your avy reminds me of the lead angel. I dom't think I can ever finish the story, however, since I am not on that path anymore. But it reminds me of what I always liked about angels.

Last OT subject before I drop this subject... I promise. :D
I always saw angels as protectors. Not the kind that sits on your shoulder and says insipid things like 'You shouldn't do this...' but rather the kind that does it's job by any means necessary, including some serious slicing and dicing.
The TV pilot that I wrote that gave me the name Archangel, it's about an archangel who was sick of dealing with humanity. He basically sees us as a waste of potential, and can't see the point of fighting for our protection anymore. As a result, the Big Guy punishes him. He sends him too earth as a mortal (now doesn't that add insult to injury :D ) where he is to find his faith again. But he's not alone, another archangel is 'assigned' as his guide, and his only link to home. He has a few adventures that involve him doing some un-angelic things and slowly over time regains a measure of respect for humanity. Sort of Highway to Heaven meets the WWE ;)

Ah, a new twist on the topic:
My favorite comic/toony type
1 Betty Cooper - I always was attracted to the girl-next-door type which she exemplifies. Too bad I never had the chance to date one (She always will be my favorite!!!)
2. She-Hulk - Big, green and extremely intelligent. Who wouldn't find that attractive???
3. Mary-Jane Watson-Parker  My only problem with her is that she's a little over-hyphenated :D
4. Daphne
5. Wonder Woman - self explanatory
6. Jasmine
7. Marvel's Catgirl - Maybe it's the platinum hair. Or maybe it's the flexibility ;)
8. Storm - This is one lady who can light up my life anytime, provided she's careful about where she tosses her lightning bolts. :P: :D
9. She-ra (He-man's sister) :P:
10. Supergirl
