Well... we all know TV Guide used a dartboard to pick there list. So lets show them how its really done! What do YOU think are the top 25 greatest legends in science fiction. And what criteria do you use to pick them? And of course, WHY?

They can be good or evil. But which ones do you think should be on the list?

:D

This will be fun!

Starbuck has to be there or Apollo.

I think Darth Vader ought to be given a nod as well!

Top 25 hua? Well Ive thought about this for a little while ;) here it goes........

Not in any order but.......

1. The original Classic monsters from sci fi , the Vampire Wolfman and Frankenstein.
Why? Because technology was limited then by the standards of today, and they are still pretty scary.

2. Alfred Hitchcock........don't know if he is a Ledgen or even Sci Fi,, but I loved wathcing his shows growing up. ;)

3. Yoda from SW. Why? The Language he used, powers, and the incredible effort that went into making the character!

4. Starbuck from BSG TOS~~ That speaks for itself :)

5. Cat man from Buck Rodgers.

6. Hawk man from the movie Flash. Looks like he could have really flew.

7. The Emperor from SW Return of the Jedi. Why...The make up and the darkness of his character

8. Muffit! I know some would say " What the Frack" but to train a monkey to act like that is worth being on the list!

9. ET..... Think it touched my heart

10. The Craken (sp?) from Clash of the Titans. It's a classic movie, and the animation, storyline was great. To see that thing raise up from the water still gives me chills........

11. Don't laugh but The Mummy Imhotep.

12. Hawk from Buck Rodgers.

13.Darth Vader. :)

14. Han solo. Ford is just great in anything he acts in. As Han we saw him grow and become a ledgend. * at least in my mind*

15. Reeves as Superman.......He gave life to one of the favorite fictional heros of all time.

16.Apollo from BSG Tos. A true hero and strong leader.

17. Angel.......May ot be a ledgend now but will be someday. A Vampire with a heart and conviction not to be what he is....... makes for a good twist on the ledgend itself.

18.The falcon....don't know if ships count but that space ship may have been the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, but it is a ledgend all of it's own. :)

19. Freddy, the gloves and someone that can enter your dreams and make them real is scary! A legendary villian.

20. Spock from ST.

21. The Borg

22. Does Animation count??? Battle of the Planets - G Force is Classic. Why? Think it made the way for Voltron and the Transformers.

23. The Cylons.......

24. The Alien ........Scarry monster!

25. The Ovions, another evil villian,

I think having a list of Sci Fi legends is vague. Is this a list of characters, creators or actors? Each category should have their own list really. Since most of the people on the TV guide list are characters, here is my list:

1. Captain James T. Kirk

2. Captain Jean Luc Picard

3. Commander Adama

4. Captain Apollo

5. Starbuck

6. Buck Rogers

7. Flash Gordon

8. George Taylor

9. Commander Jeffery Sinclair

10. Commander John Sheradan

11. Roj Blake

12. The Doctor

13. Mr. Spock

14. Londo Mollari

15. G'Kar

16. Professor John Robinson

17. Commander Buzz Corry

18. Cadet Tom Corbett

19. Captain Nathan Bridger

20. Colonel Jack O'Neil

21. T'elc

22. Mike Donovan

23. Han Solo

24. Luke Skywalker

25. Admiral Harriman Nelson

This list isn't in any particular order. It's just characters that appeal to me.
