View Full Version : Where is Glen Larson?

If GL really is interested in doing a BSG film with the rights he fought so hard to get, why isn't he out trying to rally the fan support. I'm no fan of BABYLON 5, but I do admire how it's creator has always been very open with the fanbase on what he's doing with that show. GL doesn't need to see an ad in Variety magazine to know what we want (even if some executives do), so why isn't he doing something to let us know that he's still interested in it. Or was all of that just 25th anniversary bull (just like his comments on "SciFi Vortex" so many years ago). Things are not looking that good right now. Some action from the owner of the rights would go a long way towards energizing the fanbase.

Ever think that he may be busy out of our view? ;)

Fan support means little if he can't clear the hurdles on his level. The ones we can't see.

Patience.

It will take a couple of years before they are ready to go. But they WILL make a movie. Till then he already HAS told the fanbase what to expect. He just don't have time to make his life about reporting to the fanbase. He gets more done if he doesn't have to deal with us. Plus old farts like him (joking) don't got a grasp of the internet.

Mr Larson has probably been around so long he doesnt go in for the Hyper PR methods.

The fan base seems dedicated, enough people are speculating..........He's probably an old school class act........as long as he's working towards producing the goods others will take care of the rest.

The current crop of producers and directors and the rest......they are a different breed with thier own pluses and minuses.

Cheers

Unless i'm mistaken, that approach didn't exactly help Tom DeSanto's project.

Larson is at work on a Knight Rider movie.

The continued facination with "Knight Rider" is something i've never been able to understand. Sure, it was a fun show, where is the vocal fanbase clamoring for it's return? With the exception of the reunion film from 1990 (?), no attempt at bringing it back has been successful. I know of at least two (the "Road Warrior" knockoff that was part of the Universal Action Pack, and "Team Knight Rider"). Why GL is wasting time with this project is beyond me.

I actually kind of prefer that, as long as it's done right.

done right? Now that's a question!

;)

I'm sure the lawsuits over Knight Rider are alot less of a headache then BG. :D

K.I.T.T. rocked. Notice the moving red sensor in front of the car. Looks like a Cylon. This proves that Larson loves BG. As far as the movie goes, Michael Knight will become the Devon Miles of the picture. A new recruit will drive the car. I hope they manage to get William Daniels back as the voice of K.I.T.T.

Just as long as they don't recast Michael Knight (even to take Devon's place). Hasselhoff may not be a great actor, but he is a good one, and he's the one most will want too see reprising the role
