yesterday I fell in love with a car! This is the new Ford GT! It has 550 horsepower and does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds! Three seconds! Tha must be what a viper launch feels like! All I need would be to have Sarah Rush yell LAUNCH!
:D
One added thing I love about this car is that it continues a great legend. Back in the 1960s when I was very very tiny, this car's predecessor won hands down on the Le Mans racing circuit. It was a champion. The Ford GT won 1st, 2nd AND 3rd place for three years in a row!
This new car revives that tradition faithfully. Its a gorgeous continuation of the legend.
Ford really did it right with this one!

You know... I think Tom Selleck would look great in a red GT in the new Magnum!
Too bad it is estimated to cost $150,000
But still....

Tom -
I like your choice in cars...... At least it's a Ford! Here's my choice for 2005 - the newly redesigned Mustang! It may not go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds, but it doesn't cost 150 large either!

I went back and fixed it though......

BWAHAHAHA! That is funny when yu thing about it. :D
I always did love mustangs! I am a camaro man myself. Love them. And sad they stopped making them. But Mustangs really look good. Especially the Shelby variants!
I also loved those Lindsay Wagner Mustang commercials too! :D

I'm glad to see that Ford is bringing back the model lines that they made well. The GT is nice, but way too expensive. Here's what I would buy if I had $40,000:

It would never make it up my driveway, but boy is it pretty.

uh huh, plus I remember them as my late dad was a mechanic and owned his own gas station and did the repairs on site. I went to work with my parents every day until he died!
